The steel margin in the SCRE series comes with an aluminum grid core and can be used in fire-rated ceiling applications. The countersunk screw holes available in the grille gives it a clean, unobtrusive appearance fit for your facility.
- Optional opposed blade volume adjustment damper can be adjusted from the face of the grille

- The SCRE series has White (WH) electrocoat finish
Product Application
Equipped with grid cores capable of transferring or returning large volumes of air at minimum pressure requirements, the SCRE1000 is an aluminum constructed return grille appropriate for fire-rated ceiling applications. The design provides maximum free area for easy return of large quantities of air at reduced pressure drop while ensuring minimum noise generation. It is recommended for areas like restaurant kitchens, cafeterias and churches that require frequent air change.

- Available in sizes between 6”x4” and 48”x48”
- The margin provides a 1-1/4” wide border on all sides with mitered corners
- They match grid louvers in appearance on luminaries
- Optional opposed blade damper (SOBD – steel, AOBD – aluminum) is factory mounted and screwdriver operated from face of grille
- Construction consists of an aluminum grid core of 1”x1”x1” (SCRE1000) and a 22-gauge steel margin
- Aluminum mounting frame (A45) for use in plaster applications to facilitate grille removal is available as an option
- The finish shall be an anodic acrylic paint, baked at 315°F for 30 minutes with a pencil hardness of HB to H
